Design - Lloyd Farrell
Congratulations to Lloyd Farrell who got a place in Falmouth the most prestigious university in Britain. Falmouths Graphic Design students won 21 major awards in 2005 alone. Then there are the Royal Society of Arts Design Awards, International Society of Typographic Designers’ Student Assessment Awards, and Macmillan Children’s Book Awards that Falmouth students/graduates have won. Last year, Graphic Design students, Tom White and Jonathan Clements, won two out of the four Young Creatives Network Best of Year awards nationwide. Current Graphic Design student, Rose Hall, recently scooped Best in Show at the hotly-contested Future Talent awards and is about to enjoy a year-long work placement in Paris, London, Milan and Hamburg as part of her prize. Falmouth Graphic Design students have also won prestigious Design & Art Direction (D&AD) awards(the Oscars of the design world) and the list of accolades goes on and on. It's an extremely hard course to get into and we hope Lloyd does well. We look forward to seeing him appearing in a future edition of Computer Arts.

Nosepicker has overcome some awful personal hurdles in getting to this University. We are sure you will hear a good deal more from Lloyd and he will not let the college down.
His family are extremely proud of his achievement which has been reached with the inconsiderable help of his college tutors and his immediate family.
Well done Lloyd
I also like to eat what I pick.
